- THE CEREMONY
All packages above include the “Non Denominational Religious Ceremony” performed by an English speaking Minister
- CIVIL CEREMONY
If you would like to get married legally in Puerto Vallarta with a ceremony performed by a qualified judge of the City Hall of Puerto Vallarta please consider the requirements below and additional fees.
- AMERICAN CITIZEN
- Birth Certificate with apostille (a document issued by the Secretary of State office in the country of origin) (be sure to get every single paper stamped)
- Translation of Birth certificates (must to be translated by an authorized translator in Puerto Vallarta)
- Copy of ID`s of the marrying couple
- Copy of the Tourist Card
- Ask permission to Government (can be requested at Migration) (Only if American & Mexican citizen are getting married)
- One witness for each one, can be family members or friends (not parents), copy of ID`s of the witnesses.
- Blood Test (has to be done in Puerto Vallarta)
- Health Certificate (has to be done in Puerto Vallarta)
- Pre-Marriage Talk (video) (has to be done in Puerto Vallarta) – Friday only

- Birth Certificate (legalized by the Mexican Consulate of their country)
- Translation of Birth certificates (must to be translated by an authorized translator in Puerto Vallarta)

The following documents must be received by the Coordinator at Garza Blanca Weddings Office no later than three (3) weeks prior wedding date.
- Original birth certificates (preferably the type with both parents’ names listed).
- If divorced, notarized copy of divorce decree.
- If adopted, notarized copy of original adoption decree.
- If widowed, notarized copy of deceased spouse's original death certificate.
- If either bride or groom have legally changed name(s), notarized copy of change of name certificate issued by the court.
- Copy of official photo identification (i.e. passport, driver’s license, military card).
- Copies of four (4) witnesses’ official photo identification (CANNOT BE THE PARENTS).
- Complete wedding form (provided by the wedding planner)
- If there is a prenuptial agreement, provide notarized copy.
Foreigners marrying a Mexican citizen must present the permit issued by Mexican Immigration and should be provided at the time of arrival. All formalities and legalities involved in this procedure are the responsibility of the individuals.
Nos. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 9 must be TRANSLATED AND NOTORIZED IN MEXICO. Please send copies to Wedding Coordinator in order to have them translated. No. 8 (completed wedding form) must also be included in the package sent to the hotel.
