Our luxurious five-star resort, which boasts the best wine cellar in Puerto Vallarta according to Vallarta Lifestyles’ Reader’s Choice, are in the process of training Wine Stewards to serve at each of the resort’s restaurants, making dining at Garza Blanca Resort an extraordinary experience.
Fully Trained Wine Stewards at Garza Blanca
By 2016, guests will be able to take advantage of the knowledge and expertise of a fully-trained sommelier at each of the resort’s gourmet restaurants. In the meantime, guests are already beginning to enjoy the benefits of the on-going training program as selected members of the Garza Blanca team learn everything there is to know about wine service.
The resort’s new wine stewards, under the supervision of one of the top sommeliers from Vinoteca wine suppliers, are currently learning about the distinct flavors of each of the resort’s wines, the types of grapes used to make each selection and information about the vineyards and vintages of the various wine options. The new sommeliers will even be able to suggest the perfect wine to accompany your meal, contributing to an overall exquisite dining experience.
While Bocados Steak House and Aquazul will have a wine steward of their own, the real shining star will be the unparalleled service at Blanca Blue. The gourmet restaurant features an expansive wine cellar, which boasts more than 2,300 bottles. The restaurant’s wine cellar prides itself on carrying a large variety of artisan Mexican wines as well as a fine collection of imports from around the world.
For wine connoisseurs or simply those interested in satisfying their palate, wine tastings are available twice a week at Blanca Blue Restaurant and Lounge. Take advantage of the opportunity to socialize with guests while you learn about the fermentation process and how wine is made. You’ll also get some great wine pairing tips.
