What Does Kundalini Mean?

Often depicted in art and visualizations as a snake coiling up from the base of the spine to towards the third eye and crown chakra, “kundalini” refers to the untapped energy source that can awaken the body’s seven chakras for full enlightenment. Many of the exercises and poses in Kundalini Yoga are tailored to remove any blockages held at each of the energy centers which, in turn, are related to the body’s major organs and glands.

The free Kundalini Yoga session is offered on Mondays throughout the year and takes place on the white sand beach overlooking the picturesque Bay of Banderas with the stunning Los Arcos a stone’s throw away. The immense natural beauty that surrounds Garza Blanca Preserve and the relaxing atmosphere that exudes from every inch of the resort’s grounds makes it an idyllic location for those wishing to escape the stresses of everyday life in order to perfect the art of living.
