The Museum of Natural History

The museum, which is located in the heart of downtown Cabo San Lucas, is actually housed in a space that once was an elementary school in town which was named Artículo 123 Naciones Unidas or United Nations Article 123. The museum first opened its doors on October 9th, 2006 and has been enriching the city with its variety of displays ever since. This is a great spot to spend some time off of the beaten tourist path while still being right in town.

The waters surrounding Cabo San Lucas host large numbers of migrating sea creatures including several species of whales as well as dolphins and sea turtles. The museum has done an exceptional job of showing the great biodiversity that the region’s water is host to.
