Bocados STK, Garza Blanca’s innovative gourmet restaurant, has changed its name to Bocados Steak House.
You can find Bocados Steak House at all Garza Blanca properties in Mexico’s top beach destinations, including Garza Blanca Puerto Vallarta, Garza Blanca Los Cabos, and coming soon to the brand-new Garza Blanca Cancun. All Garza Blanca properties are updating their branding and communications to reflect the new name of the restaurant.
A Piece of History
The flagship Bocados Steak House is at Garza Blanca Puerto Vallarta, in a magical spot high up in the mountains of the property. This location gives the restaurant a very special view of the Bay of Banderas and the surrounding jungle. At the time when it was built, the restaurant was a distance away from the other buildings on the property, requiring a little extra effort for guests to go there (which was part of the fun!) But since the resort has expanded over the years, Bocados Steak House is now right in the middle of the property, at the base of Tower 4.
When Garza Blanca Los Cabos opened its doors, Bocados Steak House was an important feature of the resort, with its onsite dry-aging fridge and fabulous show kitchen where guests can watch chefs prepare their meals.
A Steak-centered Concept
Bocados Steak House specializes in dry-aged premium cuts of meat. Steak is at the heart of the concept for the restaurant, which strives to create melt-in-your-mouth satisfaction of all your cravings. Dry-aging the meat gives it a stronger, more distinct flavor, and makes it extremely tender.
Although steaks are the foundation of the vision, it is also important to note that the restaurant has a strong focus on fresh, local produce and seafood. Locally sourced ingredients are used to craft natural salads, fresh fish, and other seafood dishes, including catch-of-the day, flavorful pasta dishes, inventive vegetarian and vegan dishes, and decadent desserts.
A curated selection of fine wines, craft beers, and refreshing cocktails made by expert mixologists round out the experience.
An Intimate Atmosphere
Bocados Steak House is cozy and informal, with an intimate vibe indoors and outdoors guests can enjoy al fresco dining on a spectacular terrace that overlooks the ocean. Strolling musicians enliven the atmosphere during the dinner service.
During dinner, guests receive personalized attention from the knowledgeable staff who are trained on the specifics of the meats and wines served in the restaurant, as well as sauce pairing for your meals.
The restaurants in Puerto Vallarta and Los Cabos are busy and growing, thanks to great reviews and recommendations by Garza Blanca guests and members! The Cancun restaurant will open in October of 2021.
Bocados in Puerto Vallarta puts on a fabulous breakfast buffet daily between 7:00 am and 12:00 pm and dinner is served between 6:00 pm to 11:00 pm.
In Los Cabos, Bocados is only open for dinner from 6:00 pm to 10:30 pm.
Dinner reservations are required.

Garza Blanca Resorts all offer gourmet cuisine, which reinvents the whole concept of resort dining and brings it to a whole other level.
Blanca Blue is Garza Blanca’s innovative Mexican restaurant, which specializes in authentic Mexican cuisine with a contemporary twist. The menu offers a wide variety of classic dishes prepared in a new way. From grandmother’s specialty, Pork and Tomatillo Stew, to pre-Hispanic Huauzontle Tarts, and international fusion dishes such as the Duck Crackling and Mole, you will find something that will delight your palate.
The flagship Hiroshi restaurant is in Cancun, at Garza Blanca’s sister resort, Villa del Palmar Cancun. Chef Leyva is the talented chef who created the menu for the signature cuisine featuring Japanese dishes such as sushi and sashimi paired with Mexican ingredients to create mouth-tingling sensational flavors. Chef Leyva then moved to Hiroshi at Hotel Mousai, Garza Blanca Puerto Vallarta’s neighboring sister resort, and now you can find him at Garza Blanca Los Cabos, where he is still Hiroshi’s star chef patron. You can join him on Mondays at 2:00 pm at the Robata Bar for a cooking class and sake tasting. Hiroshi will be opening at Garza Blanca Cancun in October 2021. Guests of Garza Blanca Puerto Vallarta can dine at Hiroshi, which is located next to the lobby of Hotel Mousai, and a wonderful street trolley conveniently transports guests between Garza Blanca and Hotel Mousai.
Guests who opt for the Gourmet Culinary All-Inclusive Plan can enjoy unlimited fine dining at each of Garza Blanca´s outstanding restaurants as well as premium beverages, and 24-hour room service.
