The International Star Diamond Award granted by The American Academy of Hospitality Sciences founded in Chicago in 1949 is a most coveted accolade. The award certifies the high quality and services of a diverse range of establishments including hotels, restaurants, airlines and so forth. AAHS’s board of internationally recognized trustees oversee the impartial decisions made by industry professionals and world travelers who anonymously visit establishments to evaluate their ambience, cuisine, cleanliness and hospitality.
The criteria used by AAHS’s experts for classification are based solely on an establishments’ continued and dedicated commitment to hospitality in all aspects of its operation and presentation. In this way, the International Star Diamond Award maintains its independent status as a symbol of excellence.
Blanca Blue Restaurant’s chef Fernando Pulido y Garza Blanca‘s Resident Manager, Enrico Pinzano received the award on behalf of all the Blanca Blue staff in an intimate ceremony at the restaurant. The honored plaque will go on public display in the award-winning wine cellar for all to see.
