Breakfast

For breakfast, you can enjoy sitting inside the elegantly designed restaurant with high ceilings with a mother-of-pearl color scheme accentuated by gold accents including glitzy chandeliers or you can enjoy an al fresco breakfast out on the terrace overlooking the ocean.

There is an a la carte menu to choose from, which will have you excited to start your day.

If you love classic breakfasts, you can choose eggs prepared any style including fried, poached, scrambled or an omelette with your choice of toppings including cheese, spinach, mushrooms, onions, tomatoes, and bell peppers. Eggs are accompanied by hash browns, roasted mushrooms, and assorted sauces. You can also order your choice of sides including bacon or sausages.

For those with a sweet tooth, try our brioche French Toast served with syrup and whipped cream or our Pancakes or Waffles served with bananas or chocolate berries, and maple syrup.

If you prefer a savory breakfast, opt for the Smoked Salmon Bagel served with cream cheese, organic lettuce, tomatoes, capers, and shallots or the Tafer Croissant with egg frittata, salmon, spinach, tomato, and sour curd with coriander and chives.

If you´re in a daring mood, why not try something new? Our breakfast menu features traditional Mexican breakfast items including Chilaquiles with red or green sauce, Enfrijoladas, and Chicken Enchiladas.

For a light breakfast, choose from a selection of pastries or try the Blanca Blue Sunrise served with Greek yogurt, green apple, guava, banana, berries, and house granola.

To quench your thirst, choose from a selection of coffees, teas, juices, and fresh fruit smoothies.

Lunch

For lunch, Blanca Blue serves a selection of seafood, soups, salads, and meat dishes.

If you love seafood, choose from Shrimp Aguachile (a traditional Mexican favorite), Tuna Tostadas, served with radish, pork rind, charred serrano chile emulsion, and lime, or the White Fish Ceviche with tiger´s milk and roasted corn.

The menu features three different types of tacos. Choose from beef, pork, or duck tacos served with homemade tortillas. Each portion size includes 3 tacos, so if you are traveling with family or friends, why not order and share them all?

If you crave something light and healthy, order the Blanca Blue Signature Salad and Cucumber Gazpacho Soup.

Blanca Blue´s lunch specialties include Fresh Catch of the Day, Chicken Breast, Yellow Fin Tuna Steak, and BBQ Ribs.

Burger lovers can delight in their next delicious burger whether opting for the Beef Burger topped with bacon, mushrooms, chipotle dressing and served with french fries or the Tuna Burger topped with caramelized onions and tartar sauce.

Whether you opt to sit inside the opulent dining room or on the terrace overlooking the beach, you are guaranteed a tantalizing selection of one-of-a-kind dishes.

Dinner

The dinner menu offers a great selection of innovative Mexican dishes brimming with flavors that take your palate on a delicious journey through different regions of Mexico. There are six categories to choose from. Here we guide you along to our most popular favorites in each category.

Appetizers

To start we recommend the Mexican Delight with grilled zucchini, spicy mushrooms, fried cheese, paddle cactus, and peanut dip. This dish features Mexican ingredients with the perfect combination of smoked and spicy aromas and flavors. Another popular appetizer is our Scallops Tiradito with mango, citrus, leek, mixed spices, and avocado mousse. Enjoy a new culinary trend with the softness and full flavor of fresh scallops.

Signature Soups

Corn is a staple ingredient of Mexico dating back to at least 9,000 years ago. While in Mexico, you must try the Roasted Cream of Corn soup with goat cheese ravioli, huitlacoche, and epazote. The soup is made from Creole corn that the natives grind in a mill and thicken into a sort of dough and it is creamy and delicious. Another must try soup is the Tortilla Soup, also widely popular in Mexico. This recipe is originally from the state of Tlaxcala, which means “Land of Maize”. It is a very heartwarming dish featuring guajillo pepper, sour cream, panela cheese, avocado, and coriander.

Pre-Hispanic Traditions

Travel back in history and be amazed by the flavors of two incredible Pre-Hispanic dishes. Try the Tuna Ceviche with squash seed puree, avocado, marinated cucumber, serrano pepper, and hibiscus powder all served on a tostada where all the flavors blend beautifully together. Another dish we highly recommend are the Fried Squash Blossoms filled with Oaxaca cheese and wrapped in handmade tortillas with a tomato sauce. The dish seems like a taco, yet in the mouth it transforms into a quesadilla. You must try it!

Market Food

This section of the menu allows you to sample all the best Mexican street food in an upscale environment. Our top picks in this section are the Baja Fish Tacos prepared Baja style with tempura fish, pickled cabbage, and chipotle mayonnaise or the Tacos al Pastor served with onion, coriander, lime, and sauce. These are the most popular style of tacos in Mexico and originate from the city of Puebla.

Grandmother´s Traditions

No Mexican-themed menu would be complete without including Grandmother´s Traditions. If you want to try a comforting dish as only a grandmother could prepare, try the Pork and Tomatillo Stew, which will make you feel like you are wrapped in a warm hug. This type of stew comes from Michoacán state and is traditionally cooked in a copper pot. The pork is slow cooked in its own lard and juices and a combination of spices are added for sensational flavor. Fish lovers will enjoy the Fish Fillet featuring fresh catch of the day prepared with Zarandeada sauce. This dish is typical in the Pacific region of Mexico, originally made using the whole fish and cooked on a charcoal grill.

Specialties

Now we come to the last section of our dinner Menu, specialties. One of our most popular dishes is the Duck Crackling and Mole with mole prepared with 50 different ingredients and served with plantain tortillas. The Pork Shank Pibil is a Mayan method of cooking in a special oven called Pib in the Mayan language. This dish is served with plantain puree and pickled onion.

We hope you will enjoy your culinary journey through Mexico that forms a fantastic part of our premier culinary offerings at Garza Blanca Resorts. At night, you can also enjoy live music from our strolling musicians and relax around the fire pits.

BocaDos Steak House

Hours: 6:00 pm to 10:30 pm

Specializing in steakhouse style cuisine, especially dry-aged chops, Bocados Steak House features a fabulous show kitchen where you can dine indoors under the galactic ceiling and watch the chefs at work. You can also enjoy a spectacular dining atmosphere on the terrace and watch amazing sunsets over the ocean. Live strolling musicians add to the inviting ambiance.

To start with, we recommend the Street Tacos that come with tortillas that are filled with short rib and rib eye served with avocado sauce, radishes, and a special sauce. The meat is tender and packed with flavor. Another must try dish from our appetizer section are Mussels Alla Sorrentina, a classic Italian dish which takes you to the Sorrento Coast, prepared with black mussels, white wine, garlic, and shallots and served with a pomodoro sauce.

For the main dish, we highly recommend trying the dry-aged steaks. Choose from the Cowboy, Rib Eye, Bone-In Rib Eye, New York, or 30 oz. Porterhouse steak, perfect for sharing. The steaks are perfectly seasoned on their own, but you can also order sauces as a complement including Bearnaise, Hollandaise, or Chimichurri. Order the Garlic Mashed Potatoes and Grilled Asparagus for your sides.

For vegetarians, to start with order the Bocados Signature Salad and for the main dish order the pasta of your choice from a selection of spaghetti, penne, linguine, or rigatoni or opt for the creamy Risotto with mushrooms or asparagus.

This is the perfect place to indulge in fine cuts of meat, or vegetarian delights, as you prefer, with panoramic ocean views or a relaxed indoor dining atmosphere. The menu items available here contribute a lot to the premier culinary offerings we offer at Garza Blanca Resorts.

Hiroshi

Hours: 6:00 pm to 10:30 pm

Hiroshi Restaurant offers an inviting atmosphere with a contemporary minimalist style made up of black stone and wood. The concept of the restaurant is based on the idea of shoal, a large number of fish swimming together, which is reflected by the impressive fish chandelier with mirror polished metal to represent the movement of a school of fish. Hiroshi also offers the opportunity for al fresco dining on its terrace with breathtaking ocean views. Strolling musicians add to the elegant ambiance.

The menu features Japanese cuisine with flavors that leave a delightful tingling sensation on the tongue.

To start with try the Tempura Vegetables with asparagus, sweet potato, onions, zucchini, carrots, and spicy mayonnaise. This is a classic Japanese dish, perfect as an appetizer.

Next try the White Tiradito Sashimi with fresh catch of the day, serrano pepper, chili oil, and soy sauce. The fish is melt-in-your-mouth tender and enhanced by an exciting combination of flavors.

If you are with company, order a selection of rolls to share. We recommend trying the star of our Rolls section, our Mexican Rolls, with California pepper, crab meat, tuna, and lime. These are everybody´s favorite because of the balanced flavor. The next top choice is the Lobster Rolls with tempura lobster, avocado, masago, and mango. You ́ll love this unique and spicy roll.

For your main dish, we suggest the Grilled Spicy Catch of the Day served with a selection of vegetables, tempura asparagus, crispy bonito flakes and jalapeño sauce. Eat the ingredients separately and get a different taste in every bite. Mix all the ingredients together and experience an explosion of flavor with a soft, spicy kick.

Our beachside Food Truck has a trendy location right on the beach with a hip and happening atmosphere.
