October Weather in Puerto Vallarta
The fall weather in Puerto Vallarta is lovely. Summers are hot and humid, but by early November the weather breaks, humidity recedes, and the air cools down. The rainy season ends in late October to early November, and there won’t be much of any rain until the rainy season starts again in June. In the fall in Puerto Vallarta, the mornings are slightly cool, and the days are warm with lots of sunshine. Evenings cool down, and the weather is perfect for walking around outside or for hanging out in the hammock on your balcony.
Average high temperatures in Puerto Vallarta in the fall are in the 80s Fahrenheit and low temperatures are in the mid-60s to mid-70s Fahrenheit.
Water Sports in Puerto Vallarta

Baby Sea Turtle Releases
Several species of sea turtles visit Puerto Vallarta each year to lay their eggs, including Olive Ridley turtle, Leatherback, Green turtle, and Hawksbill.
Breeding season in spans from July to December. Depending on where you are, you can occasionally see a turtle scoot right up out of the ocean and onto the beach and start digging a nest! If this happens, you must clear out of the area and give her space. Mama turtles don’t care if it happens to be a restaurant, they go back to the same spot where they were born to lay their eggs.
