U.S. News evaluated more than 30,000 hotels in the USA, Canada, Bermuda, the Caribbean, and Mexico. The hotels and resorts with the highest number of points, make their list of rankings. For the hotels and resorts that score in the top 10 per cent, they also earn a Gold Badge.

U.S. News also considers data provided under license by Tripadvisor to calculate a hotel’s guest rating.
