Tafer Hotels & Resorts is pleased to announce that the grand opening of TierraLuna is nearly here! Scheduled to open on August 4th, 2021, TierraLuna is a brand new open-air space where artistic, social, and recreational activities will be held on the Garza Blanca Preserve in the south of Puerto Vallarta. TierraLuna is an innovative concept that will combine the best restaurants, art, and shopping into one zen-like space. Open daily from 3:00 pm to 10:30 pm, TierraLuna is destined to become a top attraction for visitors and residents in Banderas Bay. To start with, continuous trolleys will pick up homeowners and resort guests from various points throughout the Garza Blanca Preserve. TierraLuna will also be open for locals and visitors. The brand new complex is a naturally beautiful outdoor space that will feature nine boutiques, four restaurants, a family carousel, and outdoor ’living rooms’. There, visitors will be able to enjoy jungle views as they are soothed by the sound of natural pools that are fed by two rivers. The magical space also includes an outdoor deck for yoga classes and meditation, and a cultural forum for weddings and events.
Exciting Opening Event
Get ready to visit TierraLuna at Garza Blanca Preserve. The exciting opening event on August 4th will take place from 3:00 pm to 10:30 pm. For the opening, five boutiques will be in operation including: Luna Deli, AMA (Minimal Wear), Palma (Resort Wear), Piedra de Rio (handicrafts) and Zol (beachwear). The other four boutiques are expected to open in September 2021.
The opening event will feature a Sunset Cocktail from 8:00 to 9:30 pm where there will be live Cuban music to create a magical atmosphere at sunset. Admission to the event is free, but there will be an extra cost for cocktails for all visitors with the exception of all-inclusive guests. For guests staying at Hotel Mousai or Garza Blanca Preserve, the cost of the cocktails will be included in your Gourmet Culinary All-Inclusive plan. The unique family carousel is free to ride and it will be operating between the hours of 6:00 pm and 10:30 pm.
The Best of Mexico
The best of Mexico’s rich culture will be showcased including authentic Mexican traditions and customs. There, local organic products and art will be available including an organic Farmers Market and Art Walk featuring the work of local artists held on Fridays from 7:00 pm to 10:30 pm, accompanied by live music. For shopping, nine boutiques will be open by September 2021 including one that offers locally sourced clothing, jewelry, and shoes in earth tones by minimalist atelier AMA. Other boutiques will feature Mexican handicrafts, Huichol jewelry, swimwear and beachwear, and fashion brands including Julia and Renata clothing and Regina Romero shoes.
Fine Dining and Local Ingredients
In terms of dining, TierraLuna restaurants will showcase gastronomic offerings from top chefs. An emphasis on fresh local ingredients and flavorful international cuisine will delight guests and tickle their taste buds. Three of the four gourmet restaurants are set to open in December 2021 and will feature Karuma Gourmet Grill, specializing in fine cuts of meat, Canú Seafood for fresh seafood, and Kuali Food and Cocktails for gourmet bites and beverages. The opening date of the fourth restaurant is yet to be announced. For quick and easy snacks and coffees, visitors can enjoy a bite to eat at Luna Deli where We Proudly Serve Starbucks™ along with fresh sandwiches and pastries.
