Engagement Photos
There are numerous gorgeous locations around the resort for a professional engagement photo shoot, including in your suite, in the common areas of the resort, by the pools, or on the beach. Our wedding coordinators can help you plan a photoshoot utilizing the location of your choice, a professional photographer, and even props such as balloons, flowers, candles, a picnic setup.
Another idea is a pre-wedding shoot. This is a nice opportunity for the bride and groom to spend time with a photographer in a relaxed way, and get some beautiful photos of just the two of them in a foreign country, in a gorgeous location. It’s a nice keepsake of the last moments you had together before you were married!
Bridal Shower
Bridal showers are a great way to celebrate the bride and let her receive support from family and friends. We can set up a special bridal shower breakfast or brunch for your group.
Bachelorette Party
One of the best things about having a destination wedding is spending quality time with your bridal party. Garza Blanca offers endless opportunities for bachelorette parties. We can schedule a private chef to come to your suite and cook a special dinner, conduct a cooking class, wine tasting, or tequila tasting before a night out on the town. Dinner on the beach is an alternate option.
Maybe a day of pampering is more your style. Relax at the pool enjoying food and drinks during the day, and then head to Spa Imagine for massages and hydrotherapy with your gals.
Pre-Wedding Spa Treatments
Speaking of spa days, Spa Imagine has everything you need to get ready for your wedding, from relaxation and wellness treatments to beauty treatments, and everything in between.
The Hydrotherapy Circuit has a jacuzzi, pressure massage shower, cold plunge pool, and six-cycle vitality pool. The hydrotherapy area also has floor-to-ceiling glass walls that offer a spectacular view of Banderas Bay. Your group can enjoy the hot and cold pools, and lounge in comfy chairs, sipping drinks, then head to the steam room or sauna.

Rehearsal Dinner on the Beach
Rehearsal dinners are a great way for both families to get to know each other before the wedding, share stories, speeches, and toast the wedding couple. It’s your opportunity to practice walking down the aisle, so everyone knows where to stand and what to do during the ceremony, to avoid any mishaps! We can create a beautiful dinner scene on the beach for any size of group.
Ceremony Packages
When it comes to the actual wedding, we offer several options. Our wedding coordinators will assist you with wedding ideas including planning the ceremony, reception, and wedding photography.
You can have your ceremony on the beach, in front of the pool, or at our new TierraLuna amphitheater. All of our wedding packages include a symbolic, non-denominational, non-legal ceremony. If you want to get legally married in Mexico, let your wedding coordinator know, they will provide you with the necessary requirements and fees.
Crystal Package
The Crystal Ceremony Package includes a bamboo huppah, draped with beautiful white fabric. Our officiant will conduct a ceremony in English, and you will receive a commemorative marriage certificate.
The Crystal package includes personalized wedding coordinator service, a bottle of sparkling wine, and complimentary romantic turndown the night of the ceremony. There is no minimum number of guests required for this package, and seating is not included with this package.
Gemstone Package
The Gemstone Ceremony Package builds upon the Crystal Package. In addition to the bamboo huppah, ceremony, commemorative marriage certificate, and bottle of sparkling wine, this package includes two flower arrangements for the huppah with a selection of national flowers, as well as a bridal bouquet, groom’s boutonniere, and 50 white Tiffany chairs for guests.
The bride and groom will also receive rose petal decoration in their room and a complementary romantic turndown on their wedding night. The Gemstone package is available for weddings of 2 to 50 guests. If you have more than 50 people, you can still choose this package, just pay a small fee for each additional guest.
Jewel Package
The Jewel Ceremony Package will make your big day the ultimate blend of intimacy and elegance. Everything from the Gemstone Ceremony Package is included, plus an audio system for the ceremony with a speaker and a microphone, and one hour of live music by a soloist.
The Jewel Package also includes the “Romantic Moonlight Ritual” for the bride and groom, which is a 50-minute spa treatment, as well as late check-out for bride and groom (based on availability.) Like the Gemstone Package, the Jewel Package is available for weddings of 2 to 50 guests, with extra guests optional.
Reception Packages
Whether you want to have a small wedding reception or something more extravagant, Garza Blanca has options to suit any style and budget.
Gold Package
The Gold Package is complimentary and included when your wedding guests stay at Garza Blanca for a minimum of 3 nights and choose the all-inclusive plan. It includes 3 hours of open bar with national beer, wine, and spirits, a 3-course dinner, private waitstaff and bartender, and round tables with white linens and white Tiffany chairs.
Platinum Package
The Platinum Package includes all of the above, plus one hour of mojitos, margaritas and beers, 6 pieces of deluxe hors d’oeuvres per person, and your choice of either a 3-course dinner or a 2-course dinner plus a wedding cake.
Diamond Package
The Diamond Package includes everything listed above and more. Enjoy one hour of mojitos, margaritas and beers, 3 hours of premium open bar, 6 pieces of premium hors d’oeuvres per person, a 3-course dinner, a wedding cake, late night snacks, round tables, white linens & chocolate colored Tiffany’s chairs, and of course private waitstaff and bartender.
Get Married at TierraLuna Gardens
Garza Blanca also has a brand-new wedding venue at the TierraLuna Gardens cultural forum amphitheater. TierraLuna is our new outdoor space where culture, art, gastronomy, and Mexican traditions converge. There is an esplanade for walking, a whimsical carousel, and shopping boutiques where you can find the best locally sourced clothing, beachwear, swimwear, jewelry, lifestyle products, and more. On Friday nights (seasonal October through May), there is an Art Walk and a Farmers Market. There are outdoor “living rooms,” where you can admire views of Banderas Bay, and there’s a deli where you can get coffee, sandwiches, and snacks.
The space for weddings is the outdoor amphitheater within TierraLuna Gardens. Here, you and your guests will feel at ease in a spectacular setting surrounded by nature.
