On December 15th, Otto Pareto, Resident Manager of Garza Blanca Cancun – and the rest of the team celebrated the soft opening of Tafer´s third Garza Blanca resort.
During the soft opening, Resident Manager, Otto Pareto welcomed each of the guests with Garza Blanca´s signature cocktail, a mix of soursop, mezcal and chiles serrano. The first guests to stay at the resort during the soft opening include 11 adults and 6 kids, including an Elite Residence Member.

Garza Blanca Resort & Spa Cancun is the brand’s third property and it is expected to follow the tremendous success of Garza Blanca Preserve Resort & Spa Puerto Vallarta and Garza Blanca Resort & Spa Los Cabos. Garza Blanca Riviera Maya will be the next resort to open following the Grand Opening of Garza Blanca Cancun.
The first two phases of Garza Blanca Cancun feature 162 suites. Guests can choose between luxury with the junior-, one- and two-bedroom suites, and even more luxury with the Three Bedroom Oceanfront, or Three – and Four- Bedroom Penthouse Lofts. Each comfort-laden suite has a bright, contemporary vibe with bespoke furnishings and elegant details throughout. Every suite features a spacious terrace and the majority offer panoramic ocean views thanks to the brilliant horseshoe design.
Upon completion, slated for December 2021, the resort will offer a total of 452 luxury suites. Guests staying in every suite category will be spoiled with personalized service and be assigned a Butler, who will receive them at check-in and be available to provide concierge services daily between 7am and 11pm.
For the soft opening, guests can enjoy a gourmet dining experience at Garza
Blanca´s signature gourmet restaurant, Blanca Blue. Other dining options include
a snack bar and a Food Truck raw bar. Guests also have the privilege of dining at all of the restaurants at its sister resort, Villa del Palmar Cancun, which are easily accessible and a short walking distance away via a connecting passageway. Closer to the official opening date, guests can also delight in gourmet culinary experiences at Garza Blanca´s other signature restaurants: Hiroshi, Bocados Steak House, and the Rooftop. In addition, there will be a Gourmet Food Hall offering 5 different types of cuisine including Asian, Seafood, BBQ, Italian, and Mexican, plus a coffee shop and ice cream and sweet shop. The resort offers both Room only and Gourmet Culinary All-Inclusive plans. Guests will also enjoy expert mixology at one of two bars including the swim-up bar and adults only Rooftop bar.
Garza Blanca Cancun will also feature a wellness zone with a world-class spa and state-of-the-art-gym, five heated swimming pools, 3 Jacuzzis, a kids club, beach access with lounge chairs and day beds, and a banquet hall.
Please note that as it is a soft opening, and phases 1 & 2 are complete, we are still working on some construction of phases 3 & 4 inside the property, however, the facade and all structural concrete work is completed. Now we are working on internal finishes inside the resort, which are progressing at a steady pace.
