Spending the Easter Holidays in Los Cabos

San Jose del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas are the two cities that make up Los Cabos, the stunning and popular municipality that is located on the southern tip of Baja California Sur. The cities are enclosed by the striking desert mountains that are patterned with cacti and dry vegetation, beautifully complemented by the pristine and picturesque Sea of Cortez and golden sand.

San Jose del Cabo (San Jose) is the more traditional Mexican city of the two, with colonial architecture and authentic culture. The city gives a wonderful nostalgia of antique Mexico, with winding cobblestone streets decorated with colorful flags, restaurants serving classic Mexican cuisine such as Pozole or Enchiladas, and the sweet melody of Mariachi echoing through the avenues. The Easter holiday in San Jose is very tranquil with Church celebrations throughout the week, artisan markets, and an entertaining live performance being hosted on Easter Sunday in the city square. You can also enjoy your time in San Jose by visiting one of the impressive art galleries or museums.

For those who would like to attend Sunday church, Iglesia de San Lucas Cabo (Church of Saint Luke) will have church services at 12:00 pm and 7:00 pm.

Cabo San Lucas is a bustling city with an ambience of modern Mexico, with innovative architecture, popular shopping villages, and numerous restaurants and bars, where you can enjoy Easter brunch. You can also celebrate on the famous El Medano beach, which has various beach clubs that are family friendly and serve thirst-quenching beverages and delectable dishes, or commemorate the week by taking a thrilling tour, such as zip-lining, horseback riding through the desert, or watching a spectacular sunset on board a luxury catamaran.
