Mario Castro, the Magician Behind the Culinary Magic
Chef Mario Castro joins Blanca Blue with a wealth of experience and brimming passion and ambition for his art, having worked at SLS South Beach, Miami alongside 3 Star Michelin chef, José Andrés, as well as an intern for six months at the world famous El Bulli restaurant in Spain and sous chef at the Waldorf Astoria in Florida, amongst other key positions and participation in gourmet festivals of international acclaim.

Inspired by the father of deconstructive and molecular cuisine, Ferran Adrià, Chef Mario comes to Blanca Blue with fresh ideas, fully committed to making his mark on the development of gastronomy in Puerto Vallarta. "I feel that the reason I am back here in Mexico, working with Tafer Hotels & Resorts is no coincidence," claims the chef, "I feel there is room with Tafer for experimentation, the freedom to create and be an authentic chef".
